{OOTD} | Avenue

Hi babes! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend! I’d like to say thank you to all of you who had watched my Instagram Live yesterday. I had loads of fun doing it and I genuinely appreciate all the support and the feedback. It helps me get comfortable on screen and it is great to actually interact and pick up what content you guys would like to see moving forward. I want to start doing video content so if you have any more suggestions and pointers please feel free to pop a comment down below.

I also managed to catch a bit of the #OneLoveManchester benefit last night before bed and honestly, it moved me so much more than I thought it would. I kept thinking that Ariana Grande could have used her social media to raise the money but she went back to Manchester, visited the victims and sang from her soul last night. She also invited other artists who could have had tons of other things to do but came through. The scenes were incredibly heart-warming and I couldn’t keep my eyes dry. It’s so easy to become stone-hearted and lose faith in humanity when we see all the horrifying things that people are doing to each other. This, amongst so many other acts of genuine kindness and humanity, show the world that love is truly the strongest force on the planet and will conquer all.

About the outfit

Kaftan – Shop Brett Robson (Shop here) | Jeans – Salsa Denim | Sweater – Edition @Woolworths | Boots – Zara (Old) | Socks – Cotton On | Sunglasses – Cotton On

From the very moment this Shop Brett Robson kaftan arrived I couldn’t wait to wear it. It has a gorgeous black and white print and is accented with blush pink, crushed velvet detail. In this outfit, I kept it very basic; with jeans, a printed sweater and denims. I think it works in such a simple ensemble because it gets to shine. However, it is so versatile and you can style it in so many ways. Wear it over a dress or jumpsuit and even as a plush pool cover-up in the summer.

I know you are all probably so exhausted from seeing these boots but they have become a staple in my wardrobe and you won’t be seeing the last of them anytime soon. I also love how the cut-out works with the fishnet sock trend.

How would you style the Shop Brett Robson Sara kaftan?
