{BEAUTY NEWS} | Mera’s Latest Secret Is Out 1

Hi beauties! Last Friday I spent the afternoon with the Mera team at the picturesque Four Seasons Westcliff to celebrate two new launches.

Mera’s hair-care products are deeply rooted in ancient Indian beauty secrets. Their original Amla oil products have been used and loved over many generations. I am one of those women. I have been using the Amla Oil to nourish my hair for years now and I absolutely love the volumising shampoo and conditioner for the summertime. (It smells amazing too!).

This year Mera wanted to diversify their range even more and cater for more hair types. After extensive research they have come up with two new shampoo and conditioner fusions – Blackseed and Coconut.

Both coconut and blackseed oils have been used and trusted in hair and body care for centuries. Coconut oil, as you know, is extracted from the kernel and meat of mature coconuts and is known for its intense nourishment. Black seed oil is made from the seeds of the black cumin plant and is said to have been used medicinally in ancient Egypt. Each infusion is blended with either coconut or blackseed oil extracts to nourish and protect hair during the washing and conditioning process.

We were also treated to spa treatments that included these oils and ancient secrets and techniques.

Mera is making these age-old beauty secrets more accessible and easier to incorporate into your everyday beauty routine. Time to share the secret!

You can find Mera’s Coconut and Blackseed shampoos and conditioners at various retailers (Takealot, Dischem etc) where they are recommended to retail for R89.99 for 1L bottles.

I will be doing full, detailed reviews on the products soon!

Until next time,

Love and sparkles

Zaakira xo

I saw the products on the shelf at a local Ladysmith Asian supermarket and was wondering whether to get them. I shall wait until you’ve given us a review.
