Missguided has really been killing it with their fragrance offerings! Babe Dreams is the latest in their fragrance family and I was kindly gifted a bottle at the Beauty Revolution festival! (If you want to know what went down you can read my post here)
The packaging is the same as the two previous perfumes – Babe Power and Boss Babe, but the cool-toned blush pink shade makes it feel a tad more grown and sophisticated. It also comes in a cute little can with a ring-pull pump.
Babe Dreams is a musky chypre fragrance with a rich, familiar base of patchouli, amber and vanilla. It opens with bergamot, sharp pink pepper and red fruit accords. The lush heart brings together velvety roses with orris and violet.
Babe Dreams is quite sweet when you first spray it but I love how all the notes really warm into the base. The effect is powdery, really soft and so feminine – perfect for Winter!
This Eau de Parfum wears 6 hours+ and is a real bargain at ZAR745 for 80mL. It’s quite versatile and can be worn night and day.
Babe Dreams is a really classy, sophisticated scent and would sit comfortably amongst other popular chypre fragrances from our favourite fashion houses. (I still love the creaminess of Boss Babe the most but Babe Dreams is really lovely!)
