{FASHION NEWS} | #NicciStreetStyle

Every local fashionista looks forward to Nicci Boutiques’ launch parties. Not only do they showcase the very latest in carefully curated seasonal fashion pieces but the spoils on the day and goodie bags are truly impressive.

This year it was hosted by the effervescent Taryn Louch and it was an absolute treat!

Along with mini manis from Sorbet there was also skin mapping by Dermalogica, a Glampalm (my FAVOURITE styling tool!) hair station with hair artist Fatima Ally Mahmood, GOSH makeup artists with tips and touch ups (you can read my post on their latest launches here) and the debut of the brand new, delectable Jimmy Choo Fever fragrance (I have a bottle which I will review very soon).

To eat there were ice cream macarons from The Patisserie by Shazmin in pretty pastel shades and a range of innovative and delicious flavours.

For the calorie conscious there were freshly pressed juices from Impressed Juice Bar and caffeine fiends were treated to Manaka Coffee. The goodie bags were filled with treats from Dermalogica, Sorbet, GOSH Cosmetics, Jimmy Choo, Five Roses, Freshpak, Cadburys, Carlton Hair and Medi-Sculpt.

The clothes were stunning. Delicious sorbet shades mixed with denim and bright pops of colour. The denim is edgy and fun this season, coming in military inspired shades, harem cuts, different dyes and washes and with unique embellishments.

The tees and tops are raw hemmed with overdye effects and the accessories are bright and bold. Summer is all about having fun with your outfits and Nicci absolutely has the right idea.

After the festivities we were treated to a luxurious luncheon at Luce in the Southern Sun Hotel. I will chat about that in an upcoming post because there is just so much (good) to say!

It was a lovely morning filled with fashion and friends! I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for Summer!

Until next time

Love and sparkles
