We drove past this stunning graffiti of Brenda Fassie and I could not resist getting off and doing some photos. It has already been ten years since her passing and the Brenda Fassie Legacy aims to celebrate her life and achievements. She was an iconic musician in South African history and has served as inspiration and paved the way for all the artists of today. You can follow the Brenda Fassie Legacy project on Twitter – @BrendaLegacy.
Today is the last day of Women’s Month here in South Africa and all month we have been celebrating inspirational and iconic women. To all the women out there I would like to say that you are so loved and appreciated! Keep doing what you are doing and may you blessed with all the love and happiness in the world.
I got these awesome sneakers as a gift from my family for my birthday last weekend. My brothers chose them and even when I said I would settle for the Lunar Max in black but they insisted that I get these and I am so glad that did because they are amazing! They are a limited “Trophy” edition which was created in celebration of the soccer World Cup. With such fancy kicks, you don’t want your outfit to be too busy so I only added a few accents of pink. I have been wearing my MAC Kelly Yum Yum lipstick so much that I want to kick myself for not buying two tubes!
My hair is pretty crazy in the photos because the wind was insane. Just when I thought Spring was around the corner, HELLO COLD FRONT!
I hope you are keeping warm!
Until next time
