{BEAUTY REVIEW} | Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara 2

*PR Sample

Hi beauties! Today we are chatting about one of the most exciting beauty launches this year so far, Urban Decay’s Troublemaker mascara. It claims to deliver empowerment in a tube with 13.7x the lash volume, and a sexy, fluttery, intense black fringe.

Let’s begin with the packaging because, WOW! Troublemaker is housed in a double-walled, faceted tube with an alluring prismatic finish. With all those mermaid vibes, it is undeniably the best looking mascara in town!

The brush is custom designed and looks pretty small but packs a huge punch. It has many miniscule, spiky looking hooks that grab and separate the lashes. It also gently curls the lashes and gently coats them with just enough of the product.

Troublemaker gets it intense black colour (darker than your darkest thoughts?) from two different black pigments and the formula is infused with hollow silica and ultralight fibers that give the lashes loads of volume without weighing them down. It is also blended with super nourishing Vitamin E, panthenol and a mixture of polymers that help with wear.

Now, I’ve been using Troublemaker for some time now and here are my thoughts.

It claims to deliver 13.7x the lash volume.* Now, I haven’t *actually* measured this but it really does up the volume. It makes my lashes look a lot fuller and thicker without clumping. It also lengthens and separates the lashes beautifully. The wear is INCREDIBLE. It claims to be sex-proof (trust them on this!) and will outlast even the most scandalous nights. It lasted through me sobbing through an entire episode of This Is Us. It isn’t like any waterproof mascara I have experienced. (Must be that totally-tech formula!) It’s not difficult to remove and doesn’t pill and flake. It’s also a super lightweight formula and is very comfortable to wear. I also have to mention that the tube feels light and it is very easy to use. One swipe and you are ready to stir up trouble!

Remember: Well-behaved women rarely make history!

I will 100% repurchase the Troublemaker mascara.

Troublemaker retails for R300 at Urban Decay stores and counters and you can purchase the Troublemaker duo which comes with a full-sized mascara and 24/7 Glide on eyeliner in Zero (an intense black) for just R420. The duo also comes in an amazing prismatic pouch.

Until next time

Love and sparkles
