Hi beauties! Today I am going to tell you all about the new fragrance in the Sì family – Sì Passione. Sì Passione is a daring and contemporary embodiment of passion. The Sì Passione woman is free-spirited, bold and strong-willed. If that sounds a little like you then you are going to absolutely LOVE this one.
The campaign is shot by Tom Munro and features Sì muse – and everyone’s favourite – Cate Blanchett. She is dressed in red and is photographed against a red backdrop.
Red is the quintessence of Sì Passione – from the packaging to the inspiration for the actual scent. For centuries red has symbolized love and passion and it took hundreds of tests to find the perfect carnation red for Sì Passione. “Rosso come segno di vitalità. Rosso come segnale di passione. Rosso beneagurante e positivo.” says Giorgio Armani. (“Red as a sign of vitality, red as a signal of passion. Red to wish you good and positivity”.)
The bottle still matches the classic Sì silhouette with the same teardrop shaped stopper. Sì Passione, however, contrasts in that it is lacquered with the vibrant, spirited Passione red. The bottle is accented with a dainty gold ring at the neck and matching gold branding on the front. The pop of bright red creates a feisty, energetic feel which perfectly prepares you for the fragrance inside.
Sì Passione opens with a sharp explosion of spicy pink pepper. This is blended with juicy pear and the familiar, tart blackcurrant that runs through of all the previous Sì perfumes. The heart is beautifully floral with intense notes of sweet rose blooms and delicate jasmine flowers mixed with a hint of powdery heliotrope. The base blends together warm vanilla and cedarwood in a comfortable yet sensual dry down.
Sì Passione is a passionate blend of fruit and flowers that brings together something familiar with something exciting. I have been wearing it non-stop since it landed on my desk and perfectly represents everything I look for in a fragrance. The wear is 7 hours+ and the while the fragrance is quite intense it is extremely pleasant.
